With such a wide range of workshops for photographers, “Beyond Light” represents my culmination of expectations for a workshop catering to social photographers today. With over 20 years of industry experience and more than a decade as an educator of photographers, this workshop is a synthesis of that wealth of experience and the learning process. We will delve into topics that go beyond the technical aspects, avoiding mere recipes and “magic formulas.” My goal is to firmly ground my students and help them grasp the realities of the contemporary wedding and portrait photography business.
This training aims to provoke more questions than it answers, to instill more concerns than solutions. The search for results should stem from what participants absorb during the workshop. “Beyond Light” targets wedding photographers who aspire to grow, evolve, gain inspiration, break boundaries, become better individuals to become better photographers, and capture the world through remarkable photos while maintaining consistency during these transformative times in the industry.
In essence, it’s a conversation among friends, delving into our deepest passion. I firmly believe that a photographer hones their craft through dedication, study, and, above all, perseverance. My proposal is straightforward: cultivate habits that enhance crucial aspects of your business, photography, and your ability to craft impactful creative images, even under the pressures and time constraints we face daily.
I will share my experiences and personal journey over the years of my career and continuous learning, which have led me to establish a company that thrives and excels in an increasingly competitive and unequal market.
Moreover, this workshop thrives on your contributions and active involvement.
You will be tasked with finding answers, guided by the tutor; it’s not a traditional master class but rather a platform for opinions, critiques, and suggestions. Here, we all learn from collective experiences, including both mistakes and successes.
THROUGH SHARING, WE ALL LEARN!
